MAPs Support Group
Support for those who are Anti-Contact & Non-Offending
Psycho-Educational, Web-Based Support WEEKLY!
Using our Prevention is the Intervention™ curriculum with a strong shame reduction component, this group focuses on helping individuals who are struggling with attraction to minors with no desire to act or cause harm, to support them in their desire to remain safe and healthy in the community.
The MAPs group is psycho-educational and explores individual sexual orientation, attractions, and arousal templates as well as the impact of shame and guilt. A key focus of this group is also on healthy sexuality and finding real intimacy in adult relationships.

Time: 11:30am - 1pm (MST)
Tuition: $25 per group
Facilitators: Meg Martinez, LACMHC, ASAT-C and Annie Jacobs, LACMHC.
Meg is the Assistant Clinical Director of The Prevention Project™ at Namasté Center for Healing and has been running support groups for MAPs since 2015. She assisted in the development of the Prevention is the Intervention™ curriculum created by founder, Candice Christiansen, and together they are globally known for their prevention efforts. Annie is a skilled trauma clinician with a passion for prevention and shame reduction. She blogs monthly on a variety of topics for Namasté Center for Healing and The Prevention Project™.
