Updates and Reminders...
Aspen: Congratulations on your successful transition to Aspen. I am so proud of each and everyone of you:)
REACH Assessments will be placed in your mailboxes as soon as we receive them. The window opens on Monday:)
Primary teachers, the REACH companion books are in my office.
Thank you to everyone for your help in identifying students for our NLU Reading Practicum. Debbie Gurvitz's students will be here today, and again on May 16th for assessments.
Next week I will be meeting informally with 2nd through 8th grade teachers regarding NWEA testing logistics (supports, lunchroom numbers, special education questions, etc.). Please take some time next week to review the anchor chart policy from CPS. Remove or cover any anchor charts that violate testing rules. Gabe and I will conduct a walk through prior to testing to ensure that the testing environment meets CPS standards.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Your administrators, your students, The Friends of Carl Von Linne and PAC/BAC parents have some wonderful things planned in your honor. A schedule of events will be posted on Friday.
DIBELS and mClass Math EOY opens on Monday. Primary teachers, please feel free to post a testing sign in your window when you are conducting assessments.
Teachers--don't forget to upload your Unit plans to your Google Classroom folder. Our goal is to have a full set of units by the end of the year.
Just a gentle reminder about Friday jean days. CTU t-shirts, Linne spirit wear, college attire, favorite teams, etc. are all acceptable. Have fun! Let's try to avoid jeans on days other than Fridays:)

Student Logger is here to stay!
I just received confirmation that we'll still have access to Student Logger this coming school year through Aspen. To access it, follow these steps:
Go to the Aspen homepage
Click and log onto FOCUS
When logged into FOCUS, place the cursor over "Incident Management"
Click on Student Logger
If you need help with this, feel free to reach-out. I'd be happy to guide you through it.

Spend your CTU money. Please do not wait until June to do this.
