A Message from our #ProudPrincipal, Dr. Robin Hardy
Happy Friday, Yellow Jackets!
Today we celebrate one of my favorite school-wide events ~ College Colors Day! Putting rivalries aside (well, mostly), we come together to inform, encourage, and share the importance of college and career readiness with our students.
Check out our pictures in this edition of The Buzz as well as on social media. We also would love to hear from you! Connect with us by sharing your experiences through our college and career center. Contact Jennifer Etheredge, career specialist at jetheredge@lexrich5.org or 803.476.3057.
With Irmo Pride,
Dr. Robin L. Hardy, Proud Principal

Congratulations!
Congratulations to teachers Brittany Gerena, English, and Bonnie Robinson, Special Education, for passing their financial literacy tests and for being officially in their first year of the SC Financial Literacy Master Teacher Program!
Led by the SC Treasurer's Office and the SC Council on Economic Education, this program provides outstanding training and resources to teachers throughout the state. By leading fellow teachers in demonstrating how to integrate real life concepts across the curriculum, these teachers will greatly assist South Carolina in educating and empowering our youth with financial literacy skills needed to make sound financial decisions.
Congratulations to Ms. Robinson and Ms. Gerena for being accepted into this program and we thank them for their upcoming efforts to empower our students in the area of financial literacy!
