TRADING CARDS (from ReadWriteThink)
Trading Cards by ReadWriteThink allows students to share their understanding of various topics or concepts.
This is available as an app for iOS or Android devices or on the web for laptops and computers.
Students can create Trading Cards for:
Fictional characters from a book or novel
Historical figures from a particular event or period
Important locations from a historical event
Categories or groups of plants/animals/rocks/etc.
Vocabulary words
EDPuzzle
You can crop the video to use only the most important or relevant parts.
You can add your voice recording or insert audio notes into the video.
You can ask questions at strategic points in the video to assess your students' understanding.
You can search for videos from YouTube, Khan Academy, Learn Zillion, Crash Course and other sites.
You can upload your own video and make it exactly what you need.

NASA SPACECRAFT 3D
Spacecraft 3D gives students the opportunity to learn about and interact with spacecraft that have been used to explore our solar system, study Earth and observe the universe.
- Download the trigger/target image from NASA.
- Download the app for IOS from the iTunes Store. The Android app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
- Hover your device over the trigger/target image to discover the various spacecraft used by NASA.

Download and print the six cubes from Daqri (cardstock works best).
Download the Elements 4D App.
Scan one side of a cube to see the element come to life. Combine the elements on two cubes to see what the two elements form.
AURASMA to Create Your Own
The Aurasma App for iPads and the Aurasma Studio website provide educators the ability to create their own augmented reality activities and lessons. The following websites include step-by-step directions for using Aurasma.
colAR MIX
- Download and print the Dot coloring page from thecolarapp.com.
- Download the ColAR Mix App from the Apple or Google Play store.
- Have students color a picture related to your curriculum inside the Dot. Be careful not to color over the black outlines too much.
- Open the ColAR Mix app and watch your picture come to life! Touch the purple circle to see more images.
- ColAR has other images to color. A few are free, and some are low cost.
