From the Principal...

Dear Westbrook Families,

During the first weeks of school, we explicitly teach your children the Westbrook behavior expectations. Our school expectations are to be safe, kind, and ready. We have a behavior matrix that details what this looks like in different areas of the school. Students have participated in lunchroom expectations and bus expectations with Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Crandall. Teachers have taught students what these expectations look like in the hallways and the bathrooms. Teachers continue to model and practice classroom routines and expectations. Our Building Leadership Team is excited to continue supporting throughout the year to build a positive school community.

We are excited to share that picture day will be on Tuesday, September 28th. Students who started the school year remotely, and are not quarantining, are invited to come to have their picture taken on Tuesday, September 28th, from 4:00-4:30 pm. Students who come to school in person will take their photos during the school day. Students who are quarantining or absent on September 28th will participate during our retakes on Tuesday, November 10th.

We still need instructional assistants at Westbrook. These dedicated individuals support individuals, small groups, and classrooms. In addition, they provide supervision at arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess. If you know anyone who may be interested, please encourage them to reach out directly to me.

For Your Children,

Danielle Crandall

Westbrook Principal
