Putting It All Together
Teachers and students learning and teaching together
All working together to learn
In order to have an environment where both parties can learn and grow from each other there has to be shared interests. This will provide conditions that will motivate participants and encourage continued self learning.
In this type of learning system students and teachers effect each other because they are working together. An example for this in the book is the solar system. The parts are interdependent yet they still cause changes within each other. With that, in the classroom if students/teacher are excited about learning a topic then it effects how the classroom feels. If the class/teacher has a negative idea about the topic then it will effect the environment as well.
UDL Framework
An expert learning environment is motivating, knowledgeable, and strategic about learning.
