Etiology
Genetics is one of the causes of personality disorder , meaning these inherited tendencies are aspects of a person’s personality passed on by , such as shyness or having a positive outlook. This is sometimes called temperament. Or even the environment the surroundings a person grows up in events that occurred can trigger this disorder.
Symptoms
Persistent lying destine to exploit others, manipulate others for personal gain or for sheer personal pleasure. Poor or abusive relationship , taking unnecessary risk.
Diagnosis
To be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder a person must meet the symptom criteria in the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorder. (DSM)
Treatment
Psychotherapy , also known as talk therapy is sometimes used to treat antisocial personality disorder , is not always effective.
