FAFSA
As some of you may have already discovered, the FAFSA site has “soft” opened, and some of you may not have been able to begin the FAFSA. After reviewing many communications sent from colleges over winter break, they recommend being patient and checking back on the website. There has been heavy traffic and bugs to work out directly after the release.
To submit their FAFSA, students and a parent must first create an account and acquire their Federal Student Aid ID. To do so, students must go to studentaid.gov and follow the steps to create an account. Creating an account beforehand will ensure a smoother process when completing the 2024-25 FAFSA.
