Biography
Rocco DiSpirito he is a American chef based out of New York City. DiSpirito was born in Queens, New York City, November 19, 1966. His spouse is Natalie David and his mother is Nicolina DiSpirito. he was also Influenced by his Italian heritage and the traditional dishes his mother cooked, he studied at the Culinary Institute of America at age 16 and then at the Jardin de Cygne in France.

Education
He graduated in 1986 from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and in 1990 from Boston University with a bachelor's.
Restaurants
He gained experience working at the popular New York restaurant Lespinasse in the 1990s before opening his own successful Manhattan restaurant, Union Pacific, in 1997.
He was also Influenced by his Italian heritage and the traditional dishes.
Books/Televison show
DiSpirito was on "Sexiest Chef Magazine", in 2002 and the a year later DiSpirito had his own TV show "Restaurant" in 2003, that same year DiSpirito scored a great success with his first cookbook, "Flavor". Later that same year he earned positive reviews and received a James Beard Award in 2004, for his second cookbook, Rocco’s Italian-American (2004). DiSpirito also had his television show "The Restaurant" in 2003-2004 and was also on dancing with the stars.
