A message from Fr. Joe
Dear Parents,
Depreciation is the reduction of the value of an asset; it is a universal phenomenon; it is synonymous with “aging.” Everything ages in time, just like we as humans. What does not age over time is your knowledge gained through education. You have prioritized a Catholic education for your child because you are convinced that your child’s learning at St. Jude will not depreciate. Thank you for making sacrifices so that your child may receive more at this fine academic institute. I commend you for your effort. You are “banking” for his or her success. Academic achievement is not measured only by the quality of grades, but, above all, by the quality of character. Character is what our teachers strive to form at St. Jude, and character, by definition, includes values that are human and Christian. I encourage you to foster those values in your home by actively practicing your faith. You, your children, and your families are in my prayers. May our Blessed Mother Mary be your inspiration.

Request for Recycled Materials
We currently have a STREAM class called RECYCLE THE RUNWAY. In this class, students use recycled materials to up-cycle them to create an outfit for a model. We are asking for donations of materials for this class. We want to collect a large variety of items. Some items that we are considering are shower curtains, towels, fabric, old clothing, buttons, safety pins, thread, bottle caps, tissue boxes, string, shoelaces, ribbon, etc. While this is not a complete list, just some suggestions; we are excited to see what is collected!
Please make sure all items are clean so that we can use them for our student models. We are just beginning to work with our student models and would like donated items within the next few weeks. All donations should be sent to room 4B, Mrs. Holly Arra.
