The Great Biological Exchange, one of the most influential movement of foods, life stalk, and diseases to America, introduced many different commodities and diseases. For example, when the Europeans first came, they brought over horses, pigs, cattle, chickens, and goats, along with many plants such as, wheat, bananas, barley, dandelions, and rice.
