The Cedar Ridge Weekly

Message from Dr. Ramirez
Dear CRHS Learning Community,
One of the major tasks our yearbook staff has is to develop a theme for the year. Much thought goes into this work and this year's theme is just perfect. I will not give it away, but look below to see the video to see hear about the theme. It is aprapros to what everyone is going through as we adjust and readjust to life under covid-19.
The OCS school board is meeting on Monday. Board members will discuss our reopening plan in terms of transportation schedule, class bell schedule, and other details for the second semester. Presently, the CRHS staff is working on the "educational delivery plan" for working with students who are in Plan B (on/off every other week) and those who are 100% remote. We expect to keep our master schedule unchanged and the classes you see in PowerSchool for the second semester is what your students' schedules will look it, even if they are 100% remote.
I will be holding a series of live parent meetings to explain the details once our board approves the schedule and my team has fully developed their plans.
Parents/Students: Students will have an exciting new opportunity to do an internship or job shadowing! You will learn more at this week's Ridge Time. Parents, feel free to join your student in this week's Ridge Time to learn more about the program.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ramirez
P.S. My skeleton friend predicts CRHS beats OHS by 19 in the first game!
