Valley View ISD Welcomes New Staff Members

National Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration that commemorates the anniversary of independence for five Latin American Countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. During the month-long celebration, the achievements, contributions, culture, and history of Hispanic and Latin Americans are honored.

During the month-long celebration, Ms. Baker is honoring the culture and traditions of students, teachers, staff, and community members with her informational bulletin board. She is highlighting Hispanic artists that contributed to American culture.

Oct. book: Where the Wild Things Are (donated by Jack and Anita Thayer)

Nov. book: The Napping House (donated by Double K Dumpsters)

The elementary staff would like to thank all of the students and grandparents that joined us for our Games with Grandparents event on September 10th.
