TRANS & HOMOS ARE SAVING YOUR LIFE
Brook, Tom Vanden. "Military Transgender Ban." USA TODAY. N.p., 25 Aug. 2015. Web.
Army and the Air Force leaders know for sure of about 20 transgender troops in each service, according to a Defense Department official familiar with the issue who spoke on condition of anonymity because officials were not authorized to speak publicly. The condition of gender dysphoria disqualifies them from service under current policy, but a de facto moratorium on dismissals was enacted last month by Defense Secretary Ash Carter (Tom Vanden). DONT ASK, DONT TELL act, which allowed members to serve but not to speak of there sexual orientation. Most soldiers had to keep there sex identity a secret because they did not want to risk being discharged.
WHAT EFFECT DOES THE ISSUE HAVE ON MILITARY PERSONEL
Somaskhekar, Sandhya. "Military to Allow Transgender Members to Serve Openly." Washington Post. The Washington Post, 13 July 2015. Web. 01 Feb. 2016.
HOW THE AMERICAN PUBLIC VS. THE MILITARY VIEWS THE ISSUE
Too many issues!
They have made the decision to change their gender. And affiliate themselves with a different sex. For those who have to strip naked infront of and around someone who is of a different gender is uncomfortable and to many wrong. I do not agree with transgendered serving in the military"
