8th Grade Parents - Getting Ready for High School
Hi Parents!
Your students have created a 4-year plan with their English classes at this time. You will be receiving a mailing with the selections based on this plan, please email us any changes with the details provided in this mailing. We are excited about the transition to High School!

STAAR Dates
All testing will be done on campus - remote students are asked to report by 7:45 am on their testing days to the front office. Students will need to wear a mask and will have their temperatures checked prior to entering the office. Students are allowed 4 hours to test and will be able to call for a ride as soon as they have completed testing. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Walker at kerri_walker@lagovista.txed.net.
Tuesday, May 4th - Algebra I
Thursday, May 6th - 8th Grade Science
Friday, May 7th - 8th Grade Social Studies
Tuesday, May 11th - 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Math
Wednesday, May 12th - 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Reading
Important Notes:
Algebra I students will do remote learning on Tuesday, May 11th. We will have all grade levels testing that day, and Algebra I students will have already taken their math test.
On Wednesday, May 12th, all students will need to come to school for the test(even though it is a C Day). After testing is complete, the students will be released from school. Bus transportation will be provided.
All other test days are normal school day hours. Remote students will be able to leave campus after all testing is complete.
