Science Bob has terrific experiments set out clearly with images. Be sure to also check out the videos and the links to quality sites on science topics.
Science Sparks
Science Sparks is another great Science website with experiments and activities sorted into Physics, Chemistry, Kitchen Science and Biology. The experiments have clear instructions and images to help.

SMART Teaching Strategies
This year's SMART teaching strategies guide is your go to site for anything Literacy and Numeracy related. There are explicit teaching strategies, independent activity suggestions and links to even more resources for all stages. The site is easy to navigate and all activities are linked back to the NSW curriculum.
AITSL workbook series
AITSL have released a series of workbooks designed to "guide teachers’ self-reflection, self-inquiry and discussion with colleagues as well as supporting local performance and development processes".
The ''Working with the Standards' and 'Demonstrating Impact' workbooks are ideal for supporting teacher's seeking accreditation.
NAPLAN package from NT
Great resource to support Numeracy in your classroom. NAPLAN package from the NT with some terrific resources, links and teaching activities for each of the strands.
Resources from SA
The Dept of Education site for SA has a plethora of resources for downloading here including - classroom activities for teaching reading, comprehension booklets on each of the super six strategies, differentiation, reading fluency and much more. This is one to bookmark and keep going back to as you won't get through it all in one look!
PALS - Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening
The PALS site has some excellent downloadable resources for developing literacy skills. There are packages for sound recognition, comprehension, spelling, rhyme etc.
APP of the Week
Alan Peat's latest release is 'The Science Fiction Story Machine' The first in a series, the app allows the user to spin the parts e.g. introduction, main characters, complication etc to receive an overview of ideas that can be used as a stimulus to create their own story. There are over one million combinations possible! Be sure to check out Alan's other apps too.

Click on the secret door and be transported around the world. A fabulous discussion starter or creative writing task. Also great for developing inference skills!
