are invited to come hear more about
the April 2 No-Tax-Rate Increase Bond Issue Proposition E
6:30-8:30 p.m. Wed., Feb. 13
Hixson Middle School Auditorium
Over the past several weeks, the district has presented information on safety, accessibility and space needs in our schools and gathered feedback from community members through meetings, surveys and focus groups.
Based on what we heard, the Board of Education has placed a no-tax-rate-increase $22 million bond issue on the April 2 ballot that will improve safety and accessibility in all district buildings and relieve overcrowding in elementary schools.
Please plan to attend this important meeting! Bring your questions and comments.
Free babysitting will be available. If you will need this service, please call Shari Meyers at 314-918-4004 or email meyers.shari@wgmail.org

WG All Star Rhythm and Blues Choir
My name is Desmond Reichold, director of music at Hudson Elementary. I am going to pilot an idea for a WG All-Star Rhythm and Blues Choir. The group will consist of 3rd-8th grade singers from Webster Groves that will work on designing their own set list and show to perform. Everything will be choreographed, interactive and will incorporate music from today as well as our past times. I will be a guide in rehearsals and bring as many guest artist to help them grow throughout the end of this year. This will be audition only. We would love to have your child be part of this group. I'm hoping to have at least 20 students in the Group. Below is the link to sign up:

Webster Groves School District Foundation Update
Do you love WGSD AND enjoy social media?
To continue our growth, the WGSD Foundation is seeking a volunteer Communication Specialist. Time commitment would be only 1-2 hours a week.
The WGSD Foundation’s mission is to drive innovative and dynamic learning opportunities that impact student success. We fund teacher-designed grants that specifically focus on novel, “new to WGSD” educational ideas anticipated to have powerful impact on students. We have much to share with the WG community, including highlighting the teachers and grant ideas funded, the impact of our work on kids AND the promotion of our events and fundraisers.
The Foundation is excited to work with someone who enjoys the world of social media and wants to get more involved supporting our schools. This person would ideally be someone who enjoys using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and any other social media platforms. Time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per week.
IF THIS IS YOU, please email Becky Hauser at info@wgsdfoundation.org.
Or, PLEASE SHARE this information with your friends who love to post creative updates on social media (and who love to celebrate great things happening in the WGSD!)

The Ambrose PTO has gained permission to open an online Little Statesmen Store specializing in spirit wear for the youngest of children in the district (infants through preschool). The High School Parents Club graciously shared their designs with us so we could be the providers for little kids. Please help our PTO support the Ambrose Center by sharing this information.
