Supt Dr. Daugherty shares CCPS 2020-21 Budget Initiatives
The budget focus is simple: We need to meet the needs of our students through appropriate staffing levels; we need to provide additional staffing to support an increasing student enrollment; we need to meet the needs of our teachers and staff by offering competitive compensation; and we need to meet the needs associated with our daily operations by funding actual costs. We hope you will join our efforts to make sure that public education in Chesterfield County meets the needs of our students, our residents, and our community. The time is now to create a better tomorrow! Please join us in this important conversation.

Winter Volunteer Opportunities
Hello Husky Families! Happy Start to Winter Break!
Thank You to all of the volunteers who came out today to help cover classrooms so that our wonderful teachers could enjoy an extra 30 minute lunch. This could not have been possible without the help of all of you! We truly appreciate the time you’ve donated. If you’re looking for volunteer opportunities at Spring Run here is a list for the month of January.
- The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Spring Run Starting Monday January 27th – Monday February 3rd. Our school library is in need of volunteers to come help students shop for books and/or create wish lists to take home to their parents during their library resource time. Any time you can give would be greatly appreciated.
- Our school library is always looking for volunteers to help shelve books and assist students with check out. Please consider donating 45 minutes of your time to our wonderful library staff. They are absolutely AMAZING!
- Lunch time at Spring Run can be wild and crazy at times. Please consider helping out in the Cafeteria. It may not seem like much, but an extra pair of hands or two can be a HUGE help.
- Last but certainly not least, the Father/Daughter Dance is just around the corner on February 7th. It’s a little early, but since the dance is the first week of February we wanted to get our request for help out early. Our PTA is in need of volunteers to help check in couples as they arrive, serve snacks/drinks, and clean up at the end of the night. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
