Allentown Beer Festival - Sept. 7
Sip your way through downtown Allentown at this annual celebration of craft beer. Unlike many beer festivals, this event is open-air and takes place throughout the downtown area. Grab a passport and sample your way through some of the region’s finest brews, with more than 60 different breweries and over 120 different beers available to sample.
Brew at the Zoo - Sept. 7
Enjoy samples of 40+ craft beers in a souvenir mug at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. Your admission to the event also includes regular access to the zoo, so you can wander about to see the animals in between drinks. The event also features live music, games, and more.

International Cultural Festival - September 14
The second annual International Cultural Festival aims to raise awareness of the various cultures that exist in the Lehigh Valley. The day will feature cultural dishes, dances, songs, henna and even an international fashion show. There are opportunities for the youth of the Valley and college students to volunteer, intern or perform.

PierogiFest - September 14

When dusk falls, the spooks come out! Halloween Haunt at Dorney Park features eight mazes filled to the brim with surprises, three scares zones (two new for 2019), two shows, and more. Beware of haunts wandering through the park as well - there’s thrills hiding behind every corner!
Heidelberg 5K - September 21
The second annual Heidelberg 5K and kids one mile will take place in the majestically rural countryside of the Lehigh Valley, as the course runs alongside century-old farmhouses. The race supports local charities and will have two local food truck favorites, along with Lehigh Valley Polish Water Ice, on site.
