News from the Principal's Office
A&M Consolidated High School
Reflections from Elder's Desk
It is hard to believe that we are midway through the first six weeks of school, and Homecoming is approximately a month away. As I reflect back on this past week, let me applaud you for your continuous support of modeling campus expectations, holding students accountable, and greeting students at the door. Moreover, your support at our first pep rally is to be commended. Thank you!
On Monday, Student Council will be promoting clubs/organizations during their annual Club Rush. At AMCHS, we have approximately 50 active clubs on campus, and it is critical that our students are connected in a positive manner. Consistently, the students who are disciplined most often are uninvolved and need to be connected the most. Think about the students who are disconnected, and I encourage you to inspire them to participate in one of our clubs/organizations. To view a list of active clubs/organizations at AMCHS, please access: http://amchs.csisd.org/apps/departments/clubs.jsp
We are so excited to assess learning on our campus and to see the positive relationships that you are making with our students. Monday is the first day of formal observations and we anticipate a day of creativity, risk-taking, learning, and much more.
Be inspired--you have a purpose at AMCHS, and together we will make a difference!
