Mac El Weekly News

Message from the Principal

Welcome Mac El Students!

We are so excited to have all of our returning and new students back in the building! It will be great to see their beautiful faces and be together to learn. This has been a busy summer as there have been 26 new additions to the Mac El staff, including myself. With all of the new staff, there is a lot of information to share on our first staff day which is not until Friday. As a result, it was decided to have the building open for students and families to find classrooms but meet the teacher night for parents will be the next week.

Returning back to school may create both excitment and anxiety for students. Let us assure you there will be plenty of staff to assist students if they don't remember how to get to their class. Parents will NOT be permitted to walk students to class to reduce the exposure of additional adults to our students. Again, our staff will take great care of your child!

See below for more specific information for the upcoming events. I will be sending a weekly newsletter to keep you informed of happenings at Maconaquah Elementary.

Looking forward to a great year!

Mrs. Tidd
