HEALTH REMINDERS AND UPDATES
Please take note of the new MMR law that goes into effect July 2019. There will no longer be a personal/philosophical exemption for MMR.
Medications taken at school always need a medication authorization form filled out. This can be found on the district website or at Sehome. Emergency medications are needed by the first day of school, Aug. 28 2019.
If your student has a health plan in place, it will be mailed to you for review, doctor’s orders if needed, and your signature and date. Please make sure to sign and date the last page, check the appropriate boxes, then return to Sehome main office.
Sehome’s school nurse, Alyssa Johnson, is available to meet after August 19 and can be reached at 360-201-8766 or alyssa.johnson@bellinghamschools.org.
Wishing you all a safe and healthy summer!
