ECFE Field Trip to Alexandria & Wahpeton
All 4-5 year olds are invited to join us for a special getaway to Alexandria, MN and Wahpeton, ND! Let our coach bus take you to enjoy Shenanigans Indoor Park and City Park in Alexandria and Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton! Space is limited to one bus, so register early! All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a sack lunch to eat on the bus!
Depart BBE High School at 8:30am. We will plan to depart Chahinkapa Zoo at 4:00pm.

Swim Lessons!
Join us at the Alexandria YMCA for swim lessons this summer! We will provide transportation and supervision or you can meet us there. Children must be at least 4 years of age to ride the bus. Please come dressed and ready for lessons. Feel free to send a snack/lunch with your child to eat on the bus after lessons. We will not have time to purchase from the vending machines, so please DO NOT send money with your child. It is recommended that students who can't dress themselves on their own, do not change after lessons due to time limitations. Students will not be able to shower after lessons unless a plan has been made with the Community Ed office prior to lessons.

#BBeKind-ness Rocks Project!
Have you ever stumbled upon a painted rock that made your day? Someone placed that rock in that place and one simple act of kindness probably changed your entire day! Let's come together to start a #BBeKind-ness Community Rock Garden! Our rock garden will be a place to leave encouraging and uplifting rocks we've created and a place to pick up an encouraging or uplifting rock when we need one! Let's spread some kindess this summer! We'll provide the rocks, paint, and brushes. You can come with some ideas! (We'll have some of those too!)

Waterpark Wednesdays
Waterpark Wednesdays - Weather Permitting!
Join us on Wednesdays for a good time! We will head to the Dorothy B. Olson Aquatic Center in Willmar. Your fee includes transportation, supervision, and entrance to the park.
Concessions are available or bring snacks to keep on the bus.
We will swim from 12-3:30 pm each Wednesday.
Students under 2nd grade must be accompanied by a supervisor. Check BBE Social Media for weather cancellations or call 320-254-8211 ext. 1218. Weather cancellations will be made by 10:30 am. Bus departs BBE Elementary at 11:15am and BBE High School at 11:30am. Return: HS 4:00 pm and Elem 4:15 pm.

Athlete Performance Program
This program is an intense and organized program that is designed for serious athletes. The program will focus on technique, mobility, developing strength, speed and conditioning. Circuit training, crossfit, speed drills, and competitions are also incorporated into this program. The athletes will learn to push themselves to improve their performance and achieve their goals. Male and female athletes at any competition level (going into Grade 7 and above, including college athletes) are encouraged to participate. There is a minimum of 20 athletes needed.
At BBE, there is no off-season when you want to be all you can be...take advantage of this opportunity now!

BBE Little League
Are you ready for some competition?! This league is designed for boys and girls completing grades 1 and 2. Coaches will pitch for this league. We will have some practices to improve on our basic skills and scrimmages against other towns! Game dates will be handed out at a later date.

Jaguar Minor League Baseball
This league will run from May through end of July. This league is open to all baseball players completing Grades 3-6 and playing time is rotated among all team members. Our BBE teams will play against other communities. Monday nights are practice. Games will begin in June - schedule to follow. BBE will have some home games and some away games throughout the season. All home games will be played at the BBE High School fields. The league schedule will conclude with an end-of-year tournament on July 31. All participants will receive a Jaguar baseball shirt/jersey and hat to keep. Players are responsible for grey pants and a blue belt. League information will be available online once it is ready.

Traveling Baseball Teams
In addition to our Minor League schedule, BBE Baseball Association will also offer two traveling teams. One consisting of 5-6 graders and one consisting of 3-4 graders. Interested players wanting to try out will be notified prior to tryout date with the exact time and date. Each team will consist of 12-13 players. These teams will be determined through a tryout process that follows a standardized form and assessments are made by a group of adults not coaching the individuals in each age group. Coaches will have the final decision as to the number of players for each team. This team is a competitive team and playing time will not be equal.
It is recommended that players trying out for this team should participate in Minor League baseball as well.
In addition to the Minor League schedule, this team may have an additional night of practice and five or six weekend tournaments.
Interested players should register/pay and all fees will be refunded to any player that does not qualify for the team based on the tryout process.

7th & 8th Grade Baseball
This team will play at a competitive level with teams in area communities. Players are not guaranteed equal playing time, but every effort is to coach each individual to a level where they can compete at the position of their choice. All participants will receive a Jaguar baseball shirt/jersey and hat to keep. Players are responsible for grey pants and a blue belt. League information will be available online once updated.

High School Volleyball Camp
Chad Braegelmann, head coach at St. Cloud State University, along with members of his coaching staff and players will be running a volleyball camp for players who have completed grades 6-11. This camp will work on skills in serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking, and includes A LOT of team play! All campers will receive an SCSU volleyball t-shirt. Register by June 16. Each participant will need to fill out a waiver for this camp, which will be provided upon registration.

Youth Volleyball Camp
Students completing grades K-5 are invited to join the BBE coaches and players to improve their volleyball skills! We will be working on skills in passing, setting, hitting, serving, and team play. A large majority of the camp will be spent learning the basics of volleyball. The camp will be split into groups based on age; the players and coaches from the Varsity Volleyball program will be working very closely with the players to ensure a lot of individual attention and FUN! Summer Junior Golf League
Come learn the game of golf, get some lessons, and get on the course with Coach Goodwin and the varsity team! Everyone is welcome, from first timers to experienced golfers, we hope to see you this summer. Please provide your own golf clubs or the golf course has a limited number of clubs to borrow. We invite all students who have finished grades 3-8. Register by May 19.

Classroom Driver's Ed
This class fulfills the state mandated 30-hours of classroom instruction in drivers training. Upon completion of the course, students receive a blue card as certification of course completion. When applying for a permit, the student must bring their blue card and one form of legal identification along. Classroom training should be done when the student is close to 15 years old. Students cannot apply for their permit until they are 15 years old. Students must have their permit for 6 months before applying for a driver’s license. The fee includes a $20 non-refundable deposit for Behind the Wheel training.
NOTE: PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!

Behind the Wheel
Students who have taken Classroom Driver’s Ed and obtained their permit should get registered for Behind the Wheel this summer! The fee includes 6 total hours of driving with a licensed instructor over 3 dates. (2 hrs per time)

Indoor Garage Sale
Join the Belgrade City-Wide Sales with your sale at the BBE High School! Come rain or shine. Pay $8 per table and let us do the set-up, signs, and advertising. Purchase as many tables as you need. All profits from sales are yours to keep. Set-up on Friday, May 14 from 4-6pm and Saturday morning from 6-8am. Please limit one card table for the cashier table. (All sale tables must be purchased from Community Education.) Payment must be made before your tables are reserved. Reserve your tables by May 8.
