Builders Club
October Update & November Preview
Welcome to our Viking family! We are so excited for you to join us.
We have started a new year with new sponsors and new leaders within our club. This has been an amazing learning process and we are excited to create even more opportunities for our WMS Builders to become active volunteers within Winfield.
Thank you to those who have sponsored or donated to events that we have hosted or participated in so far. We could not do all of these wonderful projects without you!

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities for Students - November
Monday, November 8th - Friday, November 12th - Students will be voting on adopting a critically endangered animal. Our project will allow students and staff to vote from a list of ten critically endangered animals in the world. We will symbolically adopt the animal that receives the most votes during the week. Each vote will cost 50 cents with the money raised going to conservation efforts by the WWF towards that particular animal. Who knows? Maybe we will raise enough money to adopt more than one! (Project led by the Builders Club Eco-Friends and Builders Club Humane Society Groups)
Tuesday, November 16th - Builders Club Officers and Project Leaders will be helping to set up the Christmas light displays at Island Park. Winfield Isle of Lights is located at Island Park on North Main Street in Winfield Kansas and is open nightly from 6 to 10 pm starting the Sunday before Thanksgiving until December 30. (Project led by the Builders Club Officers & Media Specialists)
