Learn at Home/eLearning F.A.Q. for Parents & Caregivers

Here is a list of the most common questions from families and guidance.

Dear Prospector Families,

Thank you for a wonderful week 2 of Learn at Home. We are proud of our students and teachers as they continue to show perseverance and grow in confidence through this experience.

A reminder that we are evaluating our technology needs and how to better serve our families and students. Since iPads and Chromebooks require a WiFi connection, we are interested to know whether our students have access to WiFi at home. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey found on our district website.

A reminder that teachers in all grade levels are available Monday thru Friday from 9-4. If you have questions regarding Learn at Home or eLearning, please contact your child's teacher or use the hotline number 317-608-0545 or email MSDWarrenELearning@warren.k12.in.us. All Grassy Creek classroom teachers are available via zoom daily at 9am. We love to see you and learn together!

Our food outreach program will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11-1 at our 11 locations and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7 at Post Road Christian Church and Lakeside Elementary. If you have needs beyond what is being offered, please call or email our hotline at 317-869-4308 or MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us.

Registration for Kindergarten and Preschool in Warren Township begins on Monday, May 4th. There will be a live webinar May 4th at 7pm. Principals and teachers will present information about Kindergarten and Preschool programs in Warren, demonstrate information about how to register online, and conduct a live question & answer session with audience members. Children must be age 5 on or before September 1 to register for Kindergarten and age 3 on or before September 1 to register for Preschool.

Finally, we've been apart for 6 weeks and things can feel overwhelming and stressful. I want to encourage all adults, myself included, to model positive stress relieving practices for our kids. They watch EVERYTHING! Here's a great article with tips for reducing stress, both during COVID19 and routine times: https://www.helpguide.org/articles/stress/stress-management.htm.

We miss you greatly and hope you are staying safe! You are doing an amazing job!
