Afterschool Activities Resume beginning Wed., 4/22

We are happy to announce that beginning next Wednesday, April 22nd, some afterschool activities will resume virtually in the afternoons (for new and some existing classes). Some classes will be canceled for the remaining part of the year, however, we are adding a selection of replacement course offerings instead to supplement. Participating families, be on the lookout for a RenWeb email soon with more information, class schedules, and registration information.

Progress Reports Disseminated-Wed., 4/22

Progress reports will be distributed via email on Wednesday, April 22nd. We have greatly appreciated everyone's support and understanding with regards to adaptations and changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we understand that Parent-Teacher conferences are a very important part of our school community. We are disappointed that they will not be able to take place in-person this semester; however, in lieu of our regular in-person Parent-Teacher Conferences, please feel free to reach out to your child's teachers via email to ask questions or to seek clarification about any information relayed on your child's progress report after receipt.

PTO Meeting-Tue., 4/28, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

The general Parent Teacher Organization meeting originally scheduled for 4/21 is rescheduled for the following Tuesday, 4/28 at 5:30 pm. This meeting will include discussions about PTO executive committee elections for the next school year. A meeting link will be sent out separately next week.

Virtual Storytime

Here are this week's storybook readings to share with your young ones. Enjoy Ms. Audrey's reading of T'choupi jardin by Thierry Courtin and Ms. Emily's reading of Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion.

Community Connectedness

We would love for you to share photos of your experiences and at-home learning. You may add a google doc with a quick anecdote or story, post a cool video, or upload family and student pictures here on our AIS Community at Home. As you share, we will pass some of it along here over the upcoming weeks to help us stay connected with each other.

Save the dates

All school functions and events originally scheduled through the school closure (currently May 3rd) have been canceled. Some events may be reconfigured to virtual or moved to a future date. We will keep you updated.
