Your WestWood PTC Update

May 2019

With just over a month of school left... {whoa!}.

WestWood Restaurant Nights have been very successful this year - thank you! Please join us on Monday, May 6th at Buffalo Wild Wings for our last planned night! Details below.

Conference Dinners were soooo appreciated by the teachers staying late! Thank you to everyone who contributed and rearranged plans due to the snow day!

Butter Braids Top Sellers enjoyed some BINGO FUN with Mrs. Zwolenski - what a blast! Thanks again for making this fundraiser a success!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is being celebrated May 6th-10th this year, and we have fun things planned to show our appreciation! Please consider sending a note to your awesome teachers to show them we care! (Watch SeeSaw for an easy template to use if you want.)

A District-wide PTC meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 6pm at Redtail Ridge. We will be discussing school celebrations/parties as a large group. We will also have a split session for our regular WestWood PTC meeting. Please join us to chat about celebrations/parties at our schools!

PTC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to fill an opening on our 2019-20 volunteer coordinators list. We need more! We are especially looking for someone to manage the finances and report back about PTC expenses... the Treasurer! This role is so important to keep the wheels moving. If you are financially responsible and organized, and willing to learn a few things... please contact us! We need you!

{STILL BEGGING} PLANNING AHEAD FOR 2019-2020: PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE HELP!

It is never too early to plan ahead! The PTC has a number of open positions available in the 2019-2020 school year. Please consider offering your time and joining us to do great work for our school!

We have created a SignUp Genius to help create awareness about the number of open positions, and it includes a description of the timeline and effort involved too. Let us know if you have questions about any of the openings. Surely there is something on the list that you could put YOUR name on and help WestWood!

It is especially helpful to fill these positions before the end of the year to assist in the transitions and ensure a smooth start next year! Also note that positions that are NOT filled will mean those events/activities will not be able to happen next year. Hopefully we can continue to offer our assistance to the school and our fun activities for the children! CURRENTLY, WE NEED PEOPLE FOR FAMILY FUN NIGHT, BRAVO, ART ADVENTURE, BUTTER BRAID SALES, CONFERENCE DINNERS, SCHOOL STORE and more!

Peer pressure welcome - forward to your friends! The more people who get involved, the less work it is for each individual person. Thank you for the donation of your time!!!
