A word from Mr Broom

It's been a busy week in school. We've had more children than ever make it to the cross-country finals at Dalby Forest, and we're hoping for some North of England Champions.

Meanwhile in school, I've been looking at pupil behaviour for learning. This is about how engaged the children are and in every class I've visited, I've been met with excited busy little people, keen to tell me all about what they are doing. It's been a blast!

Thank you to everyone who brought in cakes and buns for our bun stall in aid of Compass Buzz, the mental wellbeing charity who support young people both in school and in the community. It was also great to see the variety of odd socks too!

Enjoy the weekend and I'll see you all next week.

EYFS Team work to Improve Outdoor Learning

After reaching out to parents in their termly newsletter, the EYFS team ended up rolling their sleeves up with Miss Ball's dad and Mrs Weights' parents to build some of the new play equipment which will be used by the EYFS and KS1 children.

They've done a super job and the children will benefit greatly from the experiences they will have in our new outdoor learning area.
