Bailey's Bulletin
As we have embarked into our second year as an NEISD STEAM School, Tuscany Heights has worked on creating opportunities throughout the grade levels for 1-2 project based learning units to take place. We have also created STEAM in a classroom rotation for specials. Although we continue to grow and expand this to all, as well as, increase the frequency of opportunities for kids, we are very focused on keeping ART alive in the schools. You will see art all around us:
Bulletin Boards throughout the building,
Art to Remember Projects (fall and spring)
Veterans Day Art happening in STEAM now,
Fiesta Medal Art Contest and more to come!
This is our first year to celebrate student art through a Fiesta Medal. We encourage you to Pre-Order your 1st Annual Fiesta Medal designed by Kinder student, Samuel Granados, this year. We hope to make this a traditional art piece for our students. This will allow us to recognize multiple student art pieces and honor a student with a grand prize, their artwork on the medal. We will place an order for medals based on the number of pre-orders. Start your collection now!
Our school fundraiser kicks off soon! We appreciate your support in the coming weeks. It helps us fund instructional materials and field trips to support our students' growth. Thank you in advance!
We had a fabulous month and week with KINDNESS and RED RIBBON. We hope you enjoyed seeing, receiving, encouraging, and sharing kindness along with your students.
Proud Principal,
Tara Bailey

Tuscany Heights Run for the Heights
TUSCANY HEIGHTS RUN FOR THE HEIGHTS
Tuscany Heights is hosting a fundraiser, and our goal is to raise $25,000 for Field Trips, Assemblies, and Library Author Visits.
In just a few weeks from now, family and friends will support our school by giving pledges towards the number of laps your student will run on the day of the Fun Run.
We’ve asked the fundraising experts at Booster to power our program, making our fundraising simpler, more profitable, and more fun.
Click the link below to learn more about our upcoming program!
In the past, our school has profited $23,000 to fund Field Trips, Technology, and more. Help us reach our goal this year by connecting with sponsors!

-Items that are specific to your campus (past examples: tiered garden beds, fire pits or home goods created by students)
-Fiesta/San Antonio theme basket
-Night on the town in SA (gift cards to area attractions---even one gift card can be combined with others to make a great item).
