Congratulations to Nicole Gordon for being our CMS Volunteer of the Year! We are so appreciative of her flexibility, creativity, and dedication to enhancing the school experience for our students. She will be celebrated at a district luncheon on March 29.
8th grade GA Roadtrip
Our 8th grade GA Roadtrip was a huge success! Thank you to our staff who left their families for three days to make this trip possible for our students. We visited the Little White House, Georgia Southern university campus, Fort Jackson, Andersonville Prison, Tybee Island and the home of Jimmy Carter (just to name a few) along with taking a riverboat cruise along the Savannah River and a ghost tour in Savannah. Our students were amazed at the rich history that exists in our state. For rising 8th grade students, we will begin messaging information about our trip in August.
