DHS Chemistry Class
Miss Fletcher's chemistry classes did water sampling with Beth Campbell of the University of Maine Orono. They are helping Graduate Students at our own Flagship University to collect eDNA (environmental) by sampling and then filtering the water from the Webb River. Students helped run control groups and experimental groups. They should have data back at the end of the school year which will include our samples along with those from 9 other Maine schools.

Tomatoes, Potatoes, and Flowers oh my! Mrs. Littlehale's students got their hands into the soil with this project. Their plants were outgrowing their pots so the kids had to transplant a lot of them!
