Weekly Newsletter for Families
Newsletter for Families of Seniors
- Please remember when you put your absence into Frontline to unlock the chain link to adjust the time the sub needs to be here on campus. i.e. if you are out a full day but the sub only needs to be here 8:15-12 unlock the chain link and adjust the subs time. Marking sub time as Half Day AM or Half Day PM is fine as long as the blocks you need covered are within that time. Please keep in mind parking and set up time for subs.
- For Wednesdays please remember to put the sub time starting at 10:30 am.
- Email your sub plans to Dinie and Lynda or attach to Frontline. We like to put them in the sub folder.
- If it is a prearranged absence for a district paid sub please put the confirmed subs name in the admin/sub notes on Frontline.
Save the Date:
RHL vision and hearing screenings are scheduled for Dec 13, 14, & 15th in Portable 4B. We want to THANK YOU all in advance for your help with this screening that is state mandated and makes a difference for our students. Every year we find kids that have hearing and vision needs and every year the referrals we send home prompt parents to get their kids to the doctor so they can learn in the classroom!
COVID Update:
According to the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries, employers must keep staff members who have symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive out of the workplace for at least five days. L&I guidance also states that if employees must return within 10 days from becoming sick, they should mask up at work.
These requirements are different from the guidelines for students who are symptomatic or test positive.
Please stay home if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or test positive.
Reporting a positive case
If you test positive, please report your test results using this form. You will also need to notify your supervisor and HR (humanresources@battlegroundps.org).
Rapid tests are available at each school building upon request for individuals experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Thank you for continuing to keep yourself, your co-workers and students safe.

November News for RHL HIgh School
Please remind seniors to attend a HSBP Work Session on December 1! Open to grades 9-12.
Giving Tree Sign-ups are now available. Share this form with your families that need some help this year for Christmas.
The FCRC has our SHARE Food Bag Program up and running! This is where students pick up a bag of food at the front office on Fridays to supplement the weekend meals at home. If you know of a family that could use this, please let me know or complete the Enrollment Form. I am happy to complete the form if you will just share the name with me. Any of our students are eligible if there is a need for it, just remember the bags will only be delivered on Friday. I don't think it would be a problem for the family to pick it up Monday (for our M/R families) if they can't get it Friday.
