Okay, this week's challenge to Live Well is about finding ways to reduce stress. Exercise, drinking plenty of fluids, and eating a healthy diet are all ways to help your body be its best. However, sometimes it feels that our minds our running non-stop with everything we have to do. This is where mindfulness comes in. I am by no means an expert in this trend. In fact, you may have noticed that I am not an expert in any part of the Live Well Challenge. But, I am willing to learn new things to help me live an healthier life and this is where our week #3 challenge comes in.


Week #3 Challenge:

For three days, incorporate at least 10 minutes of mindfulness into your daily routine. This can include but certainly not limited to : meditation break, a prayful pause, yoga moves, deep/focused breathing, reading for pleasure, etc. Just give yourself 10 minutes to relax and take your mind off your busy life for a while. It must be a deliberate choice on how to spend your time and not I'm bored so I will take a few minutes to chill now. You be the judge of what gives you a 10 minute break. It should be a relaxing activity, though. Enjoy!!! If you complete this challenge, you earn 30 bonus points and get to wear jeans on Thursday.
