Renewable Sources Of Electricity

HyrdroPlants, how can they help?

Need For Renewable Sources Of Electricity

The problem is that in other countries there is no renewable source of electricity and because of that they are polluting their air with non renewable sources of electricity but if we implement renewable sources like solar panels which could be installed on houses andHydropower plants which could power which might even be able to power whole cities and at the same time not polluting the air with harmful gasses from non renewable sources of electricity like coal and natural gas.

How this will affect the people and how it will help

If their is no renewable source of electricity then people are polluting the air and are breathing in harmful gasses but if we use hydro electricity we can reduce the use of fossil fuel while still maintaining the same amount of electricity being distributed to the people.

Advantages Of Using Hydroelectricity

There are many advantages of using hydroelectricity because it is fuelled using water and the water cycle so it is a clean and renewable source of electricity which helps the environment. Engineers who work in Hydro Plants can control the flow of water so can create a certain amount at will.

Disadvantages Of Using Hydroelectricity

There are very few disadvantages but one of the major ones is that some fish in the reservoirs that they use to fuel the Hydro plants would not be able to swim up stream because of how much water is used.

Hong Kong's pollution

In Hong Kong there is a pollution problem because of all of the harmful gasses released from power plants in Hong Kong and In China and this is causing more cases of asthma. for 30% of the year in Hong Kong the visibility is 8km And Hong Kong is one of the darkest cities in the world, right after Edinburgh, Scotland.

Why hydroelectricity is needed in Hong Kong

Hydroelectricity should be used in Hong Kong so we can Lower the use of fossil fuel to provide us with electricity and lower pollution that is ruining Hong Kong and at the same time generating the same amount of electricity with a clean and renewable source of electricity like HydroPlants. currently there are no Hydro Power Plants in Hong Kong.
