Join us in an online book study using Eric Jensen's Poor Students, Rich Teaching: Mindsets for Change. Region 7 will provide the book for the first 27 participants. Explore how we can support students living in poverty or with traumatic stress.

This will not count toward EC pd hours. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework designed to guide teachers in setting up their methods of delivery, physical spaces, technology, personal interactions, and lesson plans.
Bring on the Books in EC, #71623, 2/12/19
Children with disabilities can unintentionally be exempt from literacy activities and/or their expectations. A significant piece of this session will be identifying and embedding core and fringe vocabulary throughout these activities.
Sensory Play in EC, # 073275, 5/22/19
Come learn how sensory play fits into the classroom daily schedule and correlates with Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.
Elementary Differentiation, K - 5, # 65492, 6/26/19
This session will not count toward EC professional development hours. Participants will use real-world classroom situations in determining relevant ways to differentiate lesson plans, student assignments, and projects.
