Northwood News April 17-21

Be Smart. Be Kind. Be United. Be a Unicorn.

Thank you for Choosing Northwood!

Dear Northwood Community,

Viva Fiesta! The Fiesta season is officially underway in San Antonio. On Friday we have a school holiday for the Battle of Flowers Parade. Enjoy the long weekend. Tuesday, April 25 was originally scheduled to be an early release day, but the calendar has changed and it is a regular school day.

This Wednesday, April 26 our 5th grade students will be taking the STAAR Science test. Please make note that this will be a closed campus day. We will not allow any visitors or volunteers on campus this day. Our students have been working hard and are ready for this big day.

This week week is administrative professionals appreciation day. Please join me in letting Mrs. Murray, Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Roper know how much we appreciate how well they keep everything at our school running smoothly and how they greet everyone who comes to Northwood with a smile and make them feel welcome. We truly do have the best office staff around!

As we are getting closer and closer to the end of the year, there is a lot going on! I have put together a one page document with all of the events happening in May. You can click on THIS link to view the document and feel print it for future reference.

We will continue to keep you posted of the events coming up with all the details as well.

Have a great week and thank you for your support!

Mrs. Harper
