Literacy Week at BES
Next week we will celebrate Read Across America with our kids. Please see the flier below for details of the theme of each day.
We will also have our book fair open for kids to shop for some new, great books to read.
On Tuesday, we will host our Family Literacy Night from 5:30-7:00. We hope you will all be able to come out and enjoy the activities.
Pandas of the Week
Congratulations to our Pandas of the Week. We have the BESt students in the world!
Family Literacy Night
Mark your calendars. Family Literacy Night is just around the corner. You are invited to come out and participate in a variety of literacy activities as a family on February 28 from 5:30-7:00. We are looking forward to a fun filled, exciting night with our families.
Book Fair
Students will shop during their library time. They will also have times that they can go on a pass to shop. The book fair will also be open during Literacy Night if you would like to shop with your child.
Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, March 1.
ABCD Award
We are starting a new award to recognize our staff that go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty in their service to our students, family and school. We would like to give our families a chance to nominate a staff member that you feel would be deserving of this award. We will give our first one this month. Nomination that are received by the 10th of the month will be considered for that month's award. Please click on the link in below if you would like to nominate a staff member.

It's Been a Great Week at BES!!
Good Afternoon,
It's been a great week at BES. We are looking forward to our Family Literacy Night next week. The teachers have been planning lots of fun and engaging activities for you and your family. We hope that you will all be able to attend.
Please be diligent with you child's attendance. Unless your child is contagious, he/she really needs to be here on time and all day to receive the most they can from their teacher's instruction. Thank you so much for your support in this matter.
