Attendance, Arrival, and Dismissal
-Our car line doors open at 7:15 each morning. If the driver can roll down the window on the side where the student is sitting, our temperature checks will run even more smoothly.
-The gate will close at 7:45 each morning. Arrival after that time will result in an unexcused tardy. If your child has a doctor or dentist appointment in the morning, please ask for an excuse so the tardy can be excused. Parent notes are not accepted for tardy excuses.
-Unexcused early dismissals are also treated like unexcused tardies. If a student has an afternoon appointment, please be sure to get an excuse and send that to our front office.
-Please send notes if your student is out for any reason. If you have a medical note, please send that in.
-Thank you for your patience during dismissal. We are getting faster each day as our students learn their numbers and are moving quickly and safely to your vehicle. Please remember that anyone coming to pick up must have the correct tag for that student.
Remote Days and E-Learning
=Attendance WILL be counted based on work requirements from teachers. If students do not turn in the required work, they will earn an unexcused absence. Truancy will apply based on the number of unexcused absences as it would on a "normal" schedule.
=Please assist us in reminding your student(s) at home about the essential agreements that apply while on a Teams meeting. Each class has been developing those for their group. These are very important to ensuring the success of our meetings/learning time. These can include, but are not limited to, being in a quiet area if at all possible, using correct meeting etiquette, making sure the Teams chat pertains to what is being learned, etc..
=Please also remind your students to make sure to have everything they need from the classroom for their remote days. In order to work together to instill responsibility in our students, we will no longer disrupt the classroom to retrieve items they must/should have when they leave school the afternoon before. Thank you!
