Save your change - Pennies for Patients

To help raise both awareness and money to fight this deadly disease, we will ask our student’s to collect change bring it into school throughout the week of from January 23-January 28th. By bringing in spare change all week, our students and families are able to help make a difference in the life of someone facing cancer.

Our goal this year is to raise $5,000. To help in reaching this goal we have various competitions and events planned:

Jan 23rd Monday- Wear Orange Day in support of LLS

Jan 24th Tuesday- Wear your favorite sports team to school.

Jan 25th Wednesday- Dress like a teacher day

Jan 26th Thursday- Stuffed Animal Day

Jan 27th Friday- Cap on Cancer- wear a hat to school

In addition, we will hold our annual ‘Clean out your console for cancer’ event on Friday where student council representatives will collect change donations from those families in the car rider line. There will be prizes handed out to the 2 classrooms that raise the most money during the entire week. More information will be sent home with your student soon.

Please look for more information going home with your student next week and if you have any questions please contact John Reynolds at

SafeVisitor Mobile App Release!!! Find your badge quickly when you come to visit!

Hello GES Visitors! We are excited to announce the release of our SafeVisitor mobile app for Apple and Android.

Has your Child's Dismissal Schedule Changed?

Please review your School Dismissal Manager settings to ensure a safe and timely dismissal. Since the start of second semester we are making a lot of end-of-the-day phone calls to verify a student's statement that their route home is different than what's listed on SDM. This forces us to hold up buses and the car-rider line. Please be sure you're using SDM. Changes/exceptions must be done by 1:45 each day. If you need help with it please call the office.
