From the desk of Mr. Ryan Funck, High School Principal

RCS Community;

As summer is winding down and we start preparing for the new school year I would like to say how excited I am to be starting my first full year as high school principal! When I arrived last October I spent a lot of time getting to know staff, students and community members. As the year progressed we started to look at the day to day operations of the building and what could make the educational experience better for students and staff.

As we prepare to enter a new school year, I truly believe that some of the changes we have made will start to make a big difference this year! We are putting a big emphasis on community partnerships and attendance this year in our targets and action plans for the building. We will be looking to implement a community service day for all of our students as well as look at ways, not only for students to come to school, but get excited to come to school.

We are always looking for ideas and input as to how we can make the educational experience better and welcome all communication! My contact information is below and please feel free to reach out to me at any time.

Have a great rest of your summer and we will see everyone soon!
