Butter Making

Right before Thanksgiving break, Mrs. Orr's class made butter. Each student used a small container and tight fitting lid with heavy cream inside. They began the process of shaking their containers until buttermilk separated and a ball of butter was formed. It took about 10-15 minutes of shaking, but each student was successful in making their own butter and then got to test it out on a piece of bread. Delicious!
