Friday, April 29 (6 - 8pm): Bednarcik 20th Anniversary Celebration & Time Capsule Opening. Includes tours, choir and cheer performances. Bednarcik invites all who have ever attended!
May 2 - May 6: Teacher Appreciation Week: CLICK HERE to send your child(s) teacher(s) a certificate that will be sent electronically to them during that week!

Community Event Spotlight: Celebrate National Poetry Month with Pop Up Poetry in the Park featuring work by Oswego High School and Oswego East High School Poets and Artists. Stroll along the Poetry Path to read poems, rock out with some interactive painted rock poetry, chalk out your best verse, visit the Poet-tree for an inspirational prompt, or create some Black Out Poetry with the Oswego Public Library District. Sunday, April 24 | Hudson Crossing Park | 10:00am-2:00pm | FREE!

IN PERSON PLAYGROUPS - Now open at Long Beach Elementary!
- Who Wants to Play? This caregiver/child playgroup is a program provided by the SD 308 Family Support Center and is open to all SD 308 families with children five years and younger not yet attending Kindergarten. Caregiver/child playgroups work in partnership with parents to provide a variety of play experiences and activities that support the physical, emotional and social development of children. - To sign up for a playgroup: Click on the in-person playgroup link and sign up for your day/time; you will then receive an email from the Family Support Department

High School Summer School Registration - NOW OPEN!
Registration for High School Summer School should be completed via SD 308's online registration process. Click Here to view the complete SD 308 High School Summer School Catalog. Click Here to register for the courses that you are interested in taking. Click Here to pay for Summer School courses. Both forms need to be completed to full be registered for Summer School.
Registration for Returning Students - Online Registration is OPEN!
Families of returning students will complete the registration process for the 2022-2023 school year through the Tyler Parent Portal, by May 1st.

COVID-19
Free Test Kits: All American households can order two sets of four free at-home COVID-19 test kits. Order here.
District Testing Locations:
Old Traughber (AHM):
- Registration is completed through an electronic consent form for students and staff. Once registered and consent is given, testing can be completed at any of the above. Lab results will be automatically fed from the lab into CrisisGo and you will receive an email from CrisisGo with results. Information can also be found on the testing site information page on the district website.
- Please Note: Federal testing funds have been depleted. At this time, testing can only be done at this location if insurance is available. There will be no cost to the person being tested (no co-pay, deductible, cost-share). Please be sure your registration online includes your insurance.

SD 308 BOE Public Forum
- The Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education is hosting a Public Forum on Monday, May 16 at 7:00pm, rescheduled from March.
- Location: Plank Junior High School (Cafeteria), 510 Secretariat Lane, Oswego, IL 60543
- Anyone interested in sharing ideas, comments, and concerns with the Board of Education is invited. This is an opportunity for parents, community members, and business leaders to engage with the board, asking questions and engaging in two-way communication.
The forum will be live streamed on the district website at www.sd308.org.
