A Message from the School Counselor
Thank you all so much for your support of kindness day. It was quite a successful event and our tree turned out beautifully. One of the prompts students were asked to complete was “What is something kind I would like someone to do for me?”. Many students took this opportunity to express wanting more quality time with their parents or siblings. I thought this was important to pass on to families, and if you would like more information, please ask your student about their “kindness hands” activity or as always, feel free to contact me here at the school. If you would like to read more great responses, make sure to check out our kindness tree in the great room!
Thank you,
Milee Druffel-Satter

MCS Family in Need
One of our families lost their rental home to a fire on Tuesday, April 17th. The family is safe, but their home is not habitable and nearly everything in it was ruined.
Not only does the family need to find a new home, but they are also in need of money to replace their beds, clothing, furniture, electronics, etc. We are trying to help raise money for this family so they are able to afford first and last month deposit for a new rental as well as additional items to help get them back on their feet.
Please contribute whatever you can and share with others who may be able to help this family in need!
Thank you!
Our Kindergarten Class showing off their Engineering Skills

Just a quick reminder, the Palouse STEAM Coalition is meeting this Wednesday, May 2nd. We will be meeting in the backroom of the Daily Grind from 3pm-4pm. Attached is a copy of the agenda for this meeting, as well as the May event calendar. As usual, if you have anything you would like us to add, either to the agenda or calendar, please just let us know.
We hope you are enjoying the nice weather, and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
Sincerely,
Courtney Berge and Samantha Croney
