A Message from the School Counselor

Thank you all so much for your support of kindness day. It was quite a successful event and our tree turned out beautifully. One of the prompts students were asked to complete was “What is something kind I would like someone to do for me?”. Many students took this opportunity to express wanting more quality time with their parents or siblings. I thought this was important to pass on to families, and if you would like more information, please ask your student about their “kindness hands” activity or as always, feel free to contact me here at the school. Spring Testing

Below is a list of our spring testing dates. If your child is going to be gone during any of these days for grades 3-5 please let the office know, so we can plan makeup test.

Please make sure students get to bed on time and have a good breakfast. We know they will all do great!

Wednesday - May 2nd - 9:00: ELA Writing Grades 6-8

Thursday - May 3rd- 9:00: ELA PT Grades 6-8

Monday - May 7th - 9:00: Math Grades 3-5

Tuesday - May 8th - 9:00: Math Grades 6-8

Wednesday - May 9th - 9:00: Math PT Grades 6-8

Thursday - May 10th - 9:00: Math PT Grades 3-5

Monday - May 14th: 5th Grade Science

Tuesday - May 15th: 7th Grade Science

Box Top Competition

The class that collects the most Box Tops will win a donut party! Collection bins for the Box Tops will be located in every classroom. The competition will run all through May, and the winners will be announced on Friday, June 1st.

Save the Date Reminders

8th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 29th, 6-8pm

Location: Moose Lodge 210 n. Main St, Moscow, ID

Kindergarten Graduation: Monday, June 4th, 5-6pm

Location: Moscow Charter School MPR

Annual School Production: Tuesday, May 22nd, 6-8pm

Location: Moscow High School Auditorium

MCS Family in Need

One of our families lost their rental home to a fire on Tuesday, April 17th. The family is safe, but their home is not habitable and nearly everything in it was ruined.

Not only does the family need to find a new home, but they are also in need of money to replace their beds, clothing, furniture, electronics, etc. We are trying to help raise money for this family so they are able to afford first and last month deposit for a new rental as well as additional items to help get them back on their feet.

Please contribute whatever you can and share with others who may be able to help this family in need!

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick reminder, the Palouse STEAM Coalition is meeting this Wednesday, May 2nd. We will be meeting in the backroom of the Daily Grind from 3pm-4pm. Attached is a copy of the agenda for this meeting, as well as the May event calendar. As usual, if you have anything you would like us to add, either to the agenda or calendar, please just let us know.
