Ranger News You Can Use! January 8, 2023

Message from Mrs. Pinkham, Interim Principal

This week we welcomed back students and staff from the winter break and it was a great week one of the second semester! I enjoyed meeting and visiting with students and staff throughout the week and look forward to the semester ahead.

The spring semester will be busy with many activities and opportunities for students to be involved. Please read through and learn about all of the upcoming events available for students at Smithson Valley HS.

Additionally, Friday, January 6, report cards were posted in Skyward. Please take a moment to review your student’s progress. If you are unable to access or have trouble viewing, please reach out to your student’s counselor and they will be able to assist you.

Have a wonderful evening and thank you for your continued support!

Where do PTA funds go to in High School?

SVHS PTSA is an extremely active group on the SVHS campus. We provide scholarships for seniors, strive to fill all teacher/classroom requests, supply snacks for student events, throw monthly staff appreciation events, stock the workroom, bring food and other appreciation items for the bus drivers and custodians, participate in school programs, host the winter dance, and this year, we are hoping to bring in several interactive programs for the students.
