Make-A-Wish®

AHS Student Council held their annual Powderpuff Football game on 11/25/19. The Gold team was victorious in an 18-0 win over the Green team. During the halftime of the game, AHS Student Council, DECA, the MASS, Powderpuff football players/coaches and our lovely cheerleaders revealed AHS's third Make-A-Wish wish. AHS StuCo and DECA would like to thank all that attended the game as well as everyone in our community that donated to make Brooklyn's wish possible! We would also like to thank Make-A-Wish MidSouth and KTCS for their support and assistance with granting Brooklyn's wish. Brooklyn and her family will be going to Disney World for Christmas!!

AHS Model United Nations Club

AHS Model United Nations Club had a busy and exciting time at the Arkansas MUN Conference this weekend. Our students made up the delegations from Italy, Taiwan and Tajikistan. Attending this conference was a wonderful experience for the students. While they were at the conference they took part in activities that promoted research, debate and collaboration.

Also, congratulations to Delaney Baker for receiving Honorable Mention for best delegate on the World Health Organization Committee.
