Staff Shout Outs

Thanks to everyone who filled out the ELA Adoption survey. Your voice is important!!!

A huge kuddos to Megan for all her work in the creating the Stem lab. She is creating a wonderful space for our kids to explore and use their imagination. I can't wait to see the excitement on our students faces as they engage in the learning.

Staff Updates

Mid-Year Reflection Form

Last year, at mid-year I asked for feedback from the staff to continue to strengthen our campus practice and procedures. This was so valuable and appreciated!!! Here we go again...this is completely anonymous. Please take a moment to answer the few questions.

School Board Visit

Our wonderful CISD Board will visit Rice on 1/18 at 8:00. They will be visiting our STEM room, K/1/2 PLC Meeting, and classrooms to see Independent Reading. Although this is the plan they also have veered from the plan and just pop in classrooms. The Board has asked that you treat this like a Learning Walk. They don't want students to stop what they are doing and have a question and answer session. They just want to step in and take part in the learning.

Please make sure your hallways and classrooms are clean and organized. We want to leave a great impression on the board.
