Each ticket is $1.00.
Harvest Market
Northlake Christian School is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Fall Festival: The Harvest Market! NCS would like to provide local vendors the opportunity to share their amazing products with festival-goers, while also providing another way to fundraise for NCS. Vendors will keep all of their profits resulting from the sale of their items, but will pay a nominal fee to occupy the space in our Slim Gym. If you or anyone you know would be interested in participating as a vendor, please read the attached application and follow the instructions provided on the application.
Below you will find a list of the types of vendors we are seeking. This list is not comprehensive. If there is someone who is interested, but has a product other than what is listed, please have them contact us directly.
List of Possible Vendors for the Harvest Market:
- Crafts
- Jewelry
- Art
- Gifts
- Bows
- Accessories
- Plants
- Home and Garden supplies
- Unique foods gifts (jarred jellies and jams, specialty items)
- Any other type of “market” item that will sell
NEXT WEEK... October 10-15
Open House
We all know of families that wonder if their child is getting enough at their current school. Each of us has been there at one time or another. Please consider inviting a friend to attend our next Open House for Prospective Families on Tuesday, October 11 at 9:00 A.M. in the Library. Principals from each school will be available to tour families, provide information, and answer questions that will equip them to make the best decision for their child.
Early Dismissal
On Wednesday, October 12, we will have an early dismissal day to provide for our teachers and parents an opportunity for P/T conferences. You will receive a time to meet for your scheduled conference time via email from the homeroom teachers.
Lower School - 11:30 A.M.
Middle School -11:40 A.M.
Upper School - 11:45 A.M.
After Care
After Care will be provided until 5:30 P.M. with Ms. Latour.
Lunch
Students attending After Care will need to bring lunch from home as the cafeteria will not be open on this day.
Carpool
PLEASE be sure that whomever is picking up your child in carpool has a car tag in the window or on the visor. We absolutely love seeing our grandparents assisting working parents; however, we can expedite carline with this simple step. Additionally, if your child is going home with a friend, please be sure to send correspondence to the homeroom teacher and/or Mrs. Darlynn before 10:00 so it can be added to our pick-up list.
Pizza Day
Pizza Day is Friday, October 14. If you did not order pizza for the year, you will need to send a lunch from home as lunch is not served from the cafeteria on Pizza Days.
If you would like to purchase pizza, please directly email Ginger Fletcher, gfletcher@northlakechristian.org, to have payments made through your SMART Tuition account.
Freddy Finkle Field Trip
On Friday, October 21, the 1st-4th grade students will be bused to the Greater Covington Center as a field trip to enjoy a matinee of the play. The cost of the field trip has already been paid in your field trip fee that you paid during enrollment. However, you will need to complete the online permission form, Freddie Finkle’s Fabulous Frankfuters, by Friday, October 13 in order for your child(ren) to be able to attend the field trip. Parents should not check students out in the office to attend. All students will be riding the bus. Parents are, however, welcome to attend the field trip by meeting us at the Greater Covington Center. Please note there is a $15.00 cost for adult tickets that can be paid at the door.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Begin making plans now to join us as the NCS Fine Arts Department performs Freddy Frinkle's Fabulous Frankfurters.
Freddy Finkle, with the help of his friends and family, decides to follow his God-given desire to pursue the desires of his heart! In doing so, he learns that while he might face opposition in his pursuit, truthfulness, kindness and forgiveness always WINS! Freddy shows us that God can use ordinary people and ordinary things, even hot dogs, to do something extraordinary in our lives. This is a fun show, with a great cast and one that you won't want to miss!
