Learning Model Update - Secondary Schools in Hybrid
DECISION MAKING PROCESS - Learning Models
As you likely know, this year we are prepared to move in and out of our three learning models as advised by our public health officials. Each Monday, we review local COVID case data and how it may impact our ability to be in-person (or in another model) in the weeks ahead. Working closely with local public health officials we are able to estimate case rates that will be released by MDH each week (since the state report has a two-week lag). Each Thursday, we have a call with Isanti Public Health and Minnesota Department of Health Officials regarding current data and trends. Following that call, we are able to communicate directly with parents and staff about plans for the following week(s). We share this information with you to assure you that we are planful in our decision-making processes. We have outlined this decision-making process on our website.

Hybrid Schedule - A Week at a Glance
As we enter our 4th week in the Hybrid Model we wanted to share a couple of key points for students to remember:
- Monday thru Thursday teachers have students In Person. This means they are less able to respond to questions regarding that day’s assignments. Please email them with questions.
- Before emailing please know that many questions students ask are answered in the instructions and directions for the assignment. Please make sure you read through all instructions before reaching out to the teacher.

Decision Tree (MDH/MDE)
Cambridge-Isanti Schools has worked very hard to ensure our students and staff stay as healthy and safe as possible this year. As families, please make sure you are doing your part to slow or prevent the spread of COVID-19. If your student has any of the symptoms below, please keep them home until they are feeling better.
The Minnesota Department of Health has additional information for families around COVID-19 and attendance at school here: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/schools/attendance.pdf
