Today is a very special day for recognizing all that was sacrificed for the liberties we enjoy as citizens of the United States of America. Stanwood Elementary has many families that have served or are currently serving in the military. For that, I want to personally thank you for your sacrifice and for your service.

Fifth Grade Bottle Rockets - Cohort A

Fifth grade (Cohort A) showed off their rocket building skills as the school gathered in the back field to watch them blast their rockets into the sky. After students watched their rockets take off, they then had the opportunity to make revisions to their rockets and try again. It was amazing to see how high they soared! Fifth grade (Cohort B) will be waiting until next week to launch their rockets, and we can't wait to watch! Go back to the top of the newsletter and watch the Spartan Newscast for a video & slideshow of Cohort A's launch day!
