T-BIRDS SOAR Better Together!
Dear Families,
Thank you for participating in our first Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences. I appreciate all you do to help your child succeed and I hope you have encouraged your child to practice on "The Big E" Edmentum / Exact Path application that we have begun using for interventions and enrichment. We believe this is an excellent way for students to use their devices productively while the program continuously challenges them to grow in their learning. If you need assistance with this, please contact your child's teacher or the office. We are happy to help answer any questions or guide you through connecting to this resource through the "Clever" application/portal.
As we approach this busy week full of excitement and weather changes, I want to remind you that we will not be going outside if the temperature or windchill hits the 32 degrees mark. With that said, we will go outside if it is above the freezing mark, so please be sure our students dress appropriately.
Speaking of dress, with our Fall Party celebration on Friday, our students are invited to wear their favorite book character costumes. Please see the revised letter that I have inserted below for guidelines.
As a reminder, we continue to follow guidelines to keep our students and staff safe. I have linked the NPS webpage below so you can continue to review updated information.

Hey Hey PTA! What do you have to say? ...
Lakeview's Annual PTA T-Bird Trot
It's time for our annual T-Bird Trot! Lakeview students will have 20 minutes to walk or jog as many laps as they can around the school gym\basketball court. Most students will complete 15 laps or more. Virtual students are encouraged to participate by jogging for 20 minutes at home- counting laps around the house or something comparable to the size of the gym. We are encouraging every student to raise $25. All money collected will go to supporting classroom needs and educational programs sponsored by the PTA. Donors may pledge a per lap amount or a flat donation. Example: if you pledge $1 per lap and your student runs 15 laps, you would donate $15.
Please go to https://app.memberhub.gives/2a3a86 to view our online jog-a-thon page and share it with friends and family to accept donations.
To register your student on the T-Bird Trot site, go to https://app.memberhub.gives/c75bbf.
Donors can opt to pledge per lap or make a flat donation. We would like to see each student raise $25 in donations to support our PTA/school.
